CakePHP wins a web 2.0 award!
Wow, CakePHP wins a web 2.0 award in the category “Web Development and Design”. On the second place is the Prototype Javascript framework, and on the third place is the Yahoo! User Interface (YUI) library.
On the second place in the category “Social Networking” we also can find an application built with CakePHP: mingle2, a dating site. A case study of this project can be found in the bakery.

Well, I did some research and found that seomoz’s site was rewritten using cake. May that helped cake’s “ranking” :)
@Chuck: I don’t know if that influenzed the ranking, but from looking at the list of judges I doubt it.
