Waiting a book about cakePHP, in my oppion cakePHP is the best framework in PHP but only the documentation isnot enough, need a book covers general coding principles of this framework with code samples…

Does this book cover version 1.1 or 1.2? I’m assuming the former since 1.2 is still in beta, but I didn’t see anything that states definitively.

@Marc: One of the books in the results, CakePHP Recipes, is the book that was cancelled around a year ago, and one is David Golding’s book.

@sdozono: Cool to hear that CakePHP is quite popular in Japan, I wasn’t aware of that.

@Terr: Yes, that’s a general problem of books about projects which evolve rapidly. If the book comes to the shelves, it is already outdated (at least partially)…

Great to see Cake catching on more and more.

I’d love to buy one of them, however, as I’m using the SVN for my personal projects so I can report bugs, a book would get outdated pretty quick for me.
